I joined NLMK Verona in June 2008 and it was then that changes began to occur in my life. Previously I worked at the reception in a hotel, which I found tedious and monotonous. I wanted to acquire different experience and to work in a team. When I got an opportunity to join NLMK Verona, I agreed without hesitation.
My work became a challenge. I was 24 years old, I arrived from another town and so I had to start afresh, in new surroundings, with new people and new constraints.
During the 8 years I have been at NLMK, I have worked in the purchasing department, in administration and in tool steel commercial sales department. The work here is very dynamic, every day brings the unexpected, but I am certain that we have the ability to meet any challenge that comes our way. In the 2 years I have worked in the sales department I have managed to build a strong relationship with our customers based upon mutual trust which is very important to me.
NLMK Verona employs extremely experienced specialists who know products we offer our customers back to front.
What's more, they are also simply fantastic colleagues, who will always extend a helping hand if necessary. Each of us is responsible for sales in a different geographical region, but all our people are altruistic and think about our common goals rather than about their own personal interest. We have a young team with a positive vibe and a lively energetic and yet relaxed atmosphere.
Naturally, our department has some difficult days but we support one another and that helps to iron out any problems.
In fact, it was here at NLMK Verona that I met my husband, as he worked in the shipping department for 5 years now.
