IT Director Europe

With our European IT transformation already in full swing (Project Aurora, PP&S, MES/Gesifab, infrastructure, and BI) and in order to ensure coordination of the European IT teams, Ivan Govoruhin is formally appointed IT Director of NLMK Europe.

Ivan’s objectives are with the IT team to ensure performance of our day to day IT infrastructure and systems, support local and transversal teams as needed, while completing the digital transformation program successfully. In the next year we will define the IT and Digital Strategy 2030 and launch the necessary action to execute that strategy. The target of Ivan and the IT team is to create a trusted partnership between business and IT.

Ivan joined NLMK in 2017 as an IT business partner for the Sales and Supply Chain function. From this time, he managed to create an IT strategy 2022 that is being successfully implemented. The key projects during this time were the implementation of SAP S4HANA for NLMK Trading, SAP S4HANA for NLMK Trading house in Russia, Ecommerce and Digital Sales Platform launching on CX solutions. «One of our accomplishments was that we were able to build a partnership between business and IT and disperse cross functional product work on ideas, projects which bring economical and valuable effect to the Company.» In 2020, he started a big Digital transformation program of business processes in NLMK Europe.
